If you love impersonations, hilarious renditions and enticing portrayals of your favorite performers then
La Cage is the show to see. You might want to get a double take of famous divas such as Cher, Bette Midler and Madonna because you might be fooled into thinking they're the real deal. Unless these divas were born with Adam's apples, I would think twice about getting too excited in their presence.
Witness Frank Marino's convincing performance after slipping into designer gowns, applying on a little eye liner and mascara and glistening his lips with gloss, all to pay tribute to the musical divas known throughout the planet.
Marino plays Joan Rivers and acts as the show's emcee while others take the stage to belt out the hits. Steven Wayne dazzles the crows with the way that he has been able to perfect the Cher and Celine Dion song stylings and mannerisms. Chris Woods takes his turn at portraying Whitney Houston as he turns one of her greatest hits into a disco song. Ryan Zinc takes up the persona of country icon Reba McIntire while Jimmy Emerson takes on the material girl herself, Madonna. Lane Lassiter is the only one that goes to portray a performer of his own sex as he gets the chance to portray the King of Pop, Michael Jackson.
No matter if you are a fan of Whitney, Britney, Madonna, Christina, Celine or Jessica. La Cage is the one that show that brings them all to you on one stage.
